Monkey Wrench Cycles is a small custom bicycle shop in the heart of downtown Lincoln Nebraska. We have been around for almost three years now and still keeping the dream alive. We specialize in offering you the best possible mechanic services available, and really that is where the focus is, one on one personal service. This is a mechanics based shop where we are able to assemble for you exactly what you are after when building a custom bicycle. We have a huge amount of experience with 29"ers, been riding them since 2000, and also cross, singlespeed, fixed gears, touring and road bicycles. Stop in and check out the new custom bicycles available, get a tuneup, or maybe just have a look at our Vintage Mountain Bike display that continues to grow. We ride everyday, hope you'll do the same, and give us a look. Nate and Eric, MWC

Scot Nicol & Ibis
Scot Nicol & Ibis This past February I had the pleasure of going to the 2008 North American Handbuilt Bike show in Portland. The fact that Portland is so setup for the cyclist is incredible, every city should be so lucky. The show was top notch, beautiful bicycles everywhere. While there i had the chance to catch up with Scot Nicol the founder of Ibis cycles V1.0 and v2.0 as well. The bikes that Ibis V2.0 are building now are just as amazing and thought provoking as the Ibis of the Past, and when you talk with Scot you realize that they are in it for the right reasons, not too many models, just very refined and perfected ideas. If you ever find yourself with time to kill, check them out at www.ibiscycles.com, we can even help get you one.

Swobo Rosco Knickers
Swobo Rosco Knickers The spring time is a cycling clothes conundrum. Start the ride in the cold, end in some sunshine, can't figure out what to wear. The problem is solved when wearing some knickers, no not capri's like the mall sells. These are honest to goodness man/woman/ shants, not shorts or pants, but rather, knickers. They look good, feel good are not to warm or not too cold. They look great, even on us dirtball bike mechanics so imagine how they'll suit up on you fancy folks.
